Problem
Prominent had been taking students from sub-agents for years, but the agents could not see where a file had got to. Every status question came back to Prominent by phone, and the only record of who had sent whom lived in a spreadsheet. The relationship belongs to the agent, so the answer could not be to contact the student directly.

Apply2Grow is Prominent Consultant Global's B2B programme. Recruitment agencies, institutes and individual referrers apply online, get verified, and then work inside a portal that follows every student they send through a catalogue of Canadian universities, colleges and pathway programmes.

Chapter 01
The client and the problem
Prominent had been taking students from sub-agents for years, but the agents could not see where a file had got to. Every status question came back to Prominent by phone, and the only record of who had sent whom lived in a spreadsheet. The relationship belongs to the agent, so the answer could not be to contact the student directly.
Chapter 02
What we built
One Laravel application serving three audiences. The public page markets the programme and lets anyone search the catalogue before signing up; the partner portal gives a verified agent their own students, documents and statuses, and nobody else’s; the admin panel is where Prominent verifies partners and moves files forward. The rule that Prominent never contacts an agent’s student is enforced by the data model, not by memory.
